The equinox (equal nights) just happened. I am amazed how plants, animals, etc. respond to more daylight here in our area. That is especially amazing considering all we’ve been through this winter. We’ve been warped by the rain, driven by the snow…
To riff on another concept, I think we are seeing an extraordinary example of the botanical imperative. Cloudy, cold, wet, and still the plants all respond to the increased daylight hours. Blossoms are popping out all over.
This is the same force that moves us all. After all we have endured (rains, floods, snow, etc.), we are still willin’ to keep moving on. And for me, motivated to be together. I really cherish the smiles I see at every event.
